Oakwood Energy meets with our clients about their energy requirements and then designs a system sized and configured to their needs.  We then purchase and install the new system AT OUR EXPENSE.  Once the new system is in place, Oakwood Energy provides all the fuel and all maintenance on the equipment.  The only cost to the customer is for the energy we deliver.  And, the price of our energy is more favorable that the equivalent energy generated from oil and comparable to that generated from natural gas. 

Heating Equipment

We select boiler equipment based on system demand.  Below 3 million BTU per hour capacity, we use an ACT Bioenergy boiler or its equivalent.  This high efficiency boiler is manufactured in the US and has an excellent track record for on-line reliability.  Its gasification technology leads to very low emissions and little residual ash.  Further, its small footprint greatly simplifies installation.  Above 3 million BTU per hour capacity we use either a Solagen or KOB boiler.  Both are superior technologies with excellent track records.  Vendor pricing at the time of order tends to drive the selection process.

 

Chilling Equipment

Oakwood Energy works closely with Carrier Corporation in the design and selection of an absorption chiller that best fits an installation.  The absorption chiller is paired with our boiler(s) to yield a tremendously efficient platform for delivering heating services during the winter and cooling services during the summer.
